Duncombe Park
Duncombe Park is one of Yorkshire’s foremost historic houses and estates, and home to the Duncombe family. The house closed to the public in 2011, but the spectacular landscape garden and surrounding parkland are open to visitors, as is the Fountain Tearoom at the Parkland Centre.
In March 2013, the International Centre of Birds of Prey opened at Duncombe Park, a major new attraction which houses the largest collection of raptors in the north of England.
The gardens and parkland will be open Sunday to Friday (closed Saturdays) from Sunday 31st March 2013 to Friday 30th August 2013. |
